Del Marinello-WitzlibAcrylic and multimedia are my mediums. As an explorer of concepts and reveling in the discovery of new mediums and techniques to create works of abstraction, realism and impressionism, I definitely am not ready to settle down to a personal "style". Although there are a number of artists in my family, I did not discover my own desire to be creative until after retirement. I am now striving to discover who I am, what moves me, and what influences my choices. Since discovering art, I have taken numerous classes and workshops from many wonderful artists. Deanna Thibault, one of our own SAWG artists, has had a great influence on my work by pushing me to improve every aspect of it. I have achieved the status of Signature Member in the Southern Arizona Watercolor Guild, as well as the Contemporary Artists of Southern Arizona. I continue to be active in the Santa Rita Art League, Tubac Center of the Arts (Tubac) and the Community Performing Arts Center and Gallery in Green Valley.
