Art
has always been Ruth's passion. Her watercolor paintings are bright
and bold with pure colors that dance in a luminous glow. She is a perfectionist
with an abundance of patience which is reflected in her art style.
She studied fine art at Northern Illinois University and commercial
art at the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts on competition awarded scholarship
that prepared her for an advertising business career in Chicago & Denver.
Retiring, "Tucson Ruthy" relocated where she has opened her new studio
"Sunstone Artworks" in the scenic NE Tucson foothills, near Sunrise
& Kolb. Workshops/classes. Open by appointment or chance.
